Rider training is for everyone. From first time riders to experienced riding veterans, CTEC has the riding solution for you. CTEC is offering rider training designed by the most experienced and most respected riding trainers in Alberta. These proven instructors are here for your success. They all have the ability to adapt to your needs and help work towards your goals.
Rider training opens the door to this exciting and adventurous two wheeled sport. Riding a motorcycle also offers the rider a sense of freedom that can be difficult to explain. When riding a motorcycle you are open to the environment around you rather than just passing through it. You will feel the air rushing by while feeling the warmth of sun. You will instantly notice the smells of freshly cut grass, trees and flowers. There is a sense of camaraderie with all motorcyclists. On every ride you will see other motorcyclists wave as they pass. They understand what you feel and can relate to your riding stories that every rider has.
The New CTEC Rider Training program is two-days in length.
9am - 6pm each day.
Since riding is mostly based on practical skill,
you will spend your time on the motorcycles during your two days on
course. No classroom time! Once you have registered you will have access to the
CTEC New Rider Training manual. The manual is a pictorial representation
of the basics rather than text only. Our course requires that the
manual is viewed prior to the course.
You will need your own boots, jacket, gloves and a helmet. See
the FAQ's for more information.
